Terry Wayne Askew

Terry Wayne Askew, 53, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, February 22, 2004 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Mr. Askew was born June 19, 1950 in Birmingham, Alabama to Jack Dunlap and Margie Dunlap Woods. He graduated from Jones Valley High School in 1969. He married Linda Brinlee on January 15, 1969 in Centerville, Alabama and resided in Glenpool, Oklahoma for 26 years. He was a shipping and receiving manager for Rany Corp. and Fiber Pad, Inc.
Mr. Askew was an avid golfer and had a €œHole In One€ at Page Belcher Golf Course €“ 145 yard No. 12 (Olde Page) using an 8-iron. He also enjoyed bowling and loved baseball and tennis. He belonged to the PGA Tour Association, Bowling Association , and every year would bowl in the Breast Cancer Awareness Tournament. Mr. Askew is survived by his loving wife: Linda Askew, Glenpool, Oklahoma; daughter: Heather Askew, Glenpool, Oklahoma; son: Heath Askew, his wife, Jane, and their son, Chance, Tyler, Texas; brother: Larry Askew, Alabama, sisters: Glenda Belew, California; Bonnie Askew, Alabama; Diana Brown, Houston, Texas; Sandra Askew, Florida; father in-law: Hank Brinlee, Sapulpa, Oklahoma; brother in-law: Steve Brinlee, Sapulpa, Oklahoma; sister in-law: Kelley Brinlee; Sapulpa, Oklahoma; sister-in-law: Debbie Pressnall, brother in-law: Dannie Pressnall, nephew: Jeremy Pressnall and niece: Lyndsey Pressnall, Tulsa, Oklahoma;
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2004 at the First Baptist Church, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Burial will take place immediately following the service at Rolling Oaks Memorial Gardens, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Donations may be made to the Amarian Herat Association.
