Teddy Silkwood

Teddy D. Silkwood, a resident of Henryetta, passed away Friday, October 21, 2001 at the age of 64. He was born February 26, 1947 to Theodore Pete and Geraldine Marie (George) Silkwood in Henryetta, Oklahoma. He worked as a furnace operator for Anchor Glass Plant. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Silkwood in 2008; parents, Theodore Pete and Geraldine Marie Silkwood and brother, Bobby Silkwood. Survivors include his two daughters, Becky McKinney and husband, Doug of Farmington, Missouri and Shelonia Henderson and husband, James of Henryetta; one sister, Joyce James of Henryetta; two brothers, Charles and Tommy Silkwood of Henryetta; five grandchildren, Cody McKinney, Gabrielle Henderson, Colton McKinney, Jesse Henderson and Carmeron McKinney and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at the Nazarene Church in Henryetta with Brad Campbell officiating.
