Tab Art Brown

Tab Art Brown was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on November 1, 1965 to the late Charles C. and Evay Marie Brown. He passed away on Friday June 11, 2021 at the 55 years old.
Tab graduated from East Central. He got saved in 1993 and stared attending Guts Church where he helped with the Nightmare and apartment evangelism. Soon after he started Victory Christian Center. While there he worked in the T.V department volunteering as an usher, greeter, nursery worker, and he was the cook at the Camp Victory, and the Wednesday night children's church assistant pastor.
Tab and his family moved to Okmulgee in 2013 where it did not take him long to start making friends. He initiated the school's door greeter program. During 2020, he helped bring in "Go Fresh Food" trucks to feel the community. He was a part of the leadership in his church Cornerstone Foursquare. His favorite part of his job at Okmulgee Public Schools was getting to interact with kids every day.
He is preceded in death by his father Charles C. Brown, Jr., mother Evay Marie Brown, brothers Mark Brown, Jeff Brown, father-in-law Walter Green, mother-in-law Lois Green, sister-in-law Bethena Quail. Tab is survived by his wife Marsha Brown, son Caleb Brown, daughters Hannah Brown Ariel Brown, and Sarah Brown, all of Okmulgee, brother Charles (Chipper) Brown and wife Vivian of Wagoner, sister Donna Coyle of Prue, sisters in law Debra Green of Enid, Terry Apgar and husband Tom of Sapulpa, brother in law Jimmy Holman and wife Deanna of Sapulpa, uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces and one great-great niece and many friends who love him.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday June 18, 2021 at Refuge Church , 1206 W 5th St, Okmulgee, Oklahoma with pastor Mickey Baldwin officiating.
