She was born on May 24, 1950 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Robert E. and Geraldine (Collier) Fagan. Susan's faith was of the utmost importance. She established membership at Tulsa’s First Presbyterian Church in the early 70's. She was a devout Christian and woman of God who meditated in prayer for her loved ones.
On December 16, 1978, she wed the love of her life, John A. McMahan, at Sharp Chapel on the University of Tulsa campus. She was a loving and dedicated mother to their two daughters, Lillie and Johnna. She had a great love for animals that has been passed down to her children. She enjoyed the holidays with family and was a devoted spouse, parent and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Geraldine (Collier) and Robert E. Fagan; brother, Robert M. Fagan; grandmother, Louise McKee; and grandfather Calvin McKee.
Survivors include her husband, John A. McMahan of Tulsa; two daughters, Lillie McMahan Ritter and husband, Bradley of Dallas, TX, Johnna McMahan Maestas and husband, Brad of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Jackson Ritter and John Maestas; brother, Rayburn Hitchcock of St. Paul, MN; and many friends.
