Suzi Posewick (Mary Sue Turner) passed away on April 22, 2012 in Okmulgee, OK. She was born on March 25, 1945 in Haskell, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, James in 2007. Suzi is survived by her children, Gary W. Highfill of Chicago, IL and Michael W. Highfill of Okmulgee, OK; grandchildren Willow Highfill and Michael Highfill II; her father, Clarence B. Turner of Okmulgee, Sisters Virginia, Betty and Peggy as well as Brother David. She will be missed by all that new and loved her. A celebration of Suzi’s life will be held at Church of Christ in Okmulgee on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 10:30 am, with Armando Gonzalez officiating. Suzi was beloved by all who had the honor to meet her. She was kind caring and always smiling. She enjoyed quilting and taking long drives with her father and playing with her Grandchildren, she loved life, and welcomed all who entered hers with a smile and warm heart. She was always there for her family and friends with a shoulder to cry on when needed and encouragement when called for. She was truly an amazing woman with a heart of gold. She will be missed by all who knew her and those who were never fortunate enough to share her life. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee.
