Susan Kay Lormand

Susan Kay Lormand, 71, of Kinder, LA. passed away on September 16, 2022 with loving family by her side. She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church and a eucharistic minister.

Susan grew up in Kinder, Louisiana where she met Murray Lormand who she married on July 12, 1969. After their marriage they had their two children Lisa and Charles who they raised in Louisiana.

Susan was a loving wife, mother and sister. She took joy in caring for her family and friends by making baked goods. She was known for her skills with decorating cakes and would happily create one for special occasions. Susan enjoyed vacationing with her family and spending time with friends. If she wasn't in the kitchen making treats you might find her creating a beautiful quilt or cross stitching.

Susan is preceded in passing by her husband, Murray, of 52 years along with her parents, Charles and Bernadine Landry, as well as her granddaughter Alexandra (Aly) Courville.

Susan is survived by her children, Lisa L Courville and husband Todd, Charles Lormand and his wife Daniele, three grandchildren, Kyle and Colin Courville, and Abbie Del Cambre, three great-grandchildren, along with sisters Rebecca "Becky' Landry and Maryann Scogin, and brother Charles "Chuck" Landry Jr.
