Summer Dawn Berryhill

Summer Dawn Berryhill, 36, of Okmulgee, OK, passed away with loving family surrounding her bedside on Monday, October 23rd, at Saint Francis Hospital, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Summer was born in Okmulgee, OK on December 29, 1980, a daughter of Rosie Lee (Rabbit) Berryhill, of Okmulgee, and the late Leonard Ray Berryhill.

Summer was disabled at a very young age with Juvenile Diabetes but that never stopped her from being a sweet, kind and caring person. Her thoughts were always of others before herself. Summer attended Okmulgee Schools. She spent her time listening to music and being with her family especially her cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Summer is survived by her mother Rosie Berryhill of Okmulgee, four sisters: Sherry Berryhill of Okmulgee, Penny Hicks of Okmulgee, Josephine Walton of Okmulgee, and Geneva Rabbit of Muskogee and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Summer was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Berryhill.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Thursday, October 26th, 2017, at the Tallahassee Indian Methodist Church in Okmulgee. A Wake Service will follow at 7:00 PM also at the Tallahassee Indian Methodist Church in Okmulgee.

Service will be 2:00 PM on Friday, October 27th at Tallahassee Indian Methodist Church in Okmulgee, OK with Gary Dubb and Norman Daniels officiating. Interment will follow at the Tallahassee Cemetery. Family has requested donations be made to the Tallahassee Indian Methodist Church.
