Steven Burnell Maynard

Steven Burnell Maynard passed away with loving family by his side on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at the age of 55 years. Steven was born on October 22, 1964 in Muskogee, OK to his parents, Homer and Patsy (Driver) Maynard.

Four years ago in July, Steve married Allison G. Mitchell. They both had Christmas with their parents and had a great time visiting with each other. Steve and the family had a cat that he says he hated, then they also have a Blue Heeler dog named Lucy.

Steve worked as the service manager at the Walmart Automotive Shop. His passion was for his cars. He had been working on and restoring his 1985 Mustang GT Fox Body that was his dream car. Steve and Brayden had a great relationship with each other and enjoyed working on the Mustang together. He was also really into all kinds of car shows; one of his favorites was Street Outlaws. Steve and his stepson Brayden both love to watch ballgames together and then there was Bedlam!!!! What a time there was in our home when Bedlam was happening!!

Steve is preceded in death by his father Homer B. Maynard and brother Robert Maynard. Steve leaves many loving memories with his family, his wife Allison Maynard; parents Larry and Patsy Bledsoe; his children Tyler Maynard of Norman, Oklahoma, Jared Maynard of Meeker, Oklahoma and Allison's son Brayden Mitchell of Bixby; along with many other loving relatives and a host of friends.

Arrangements are entrusted to Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service & Cremation Care.

A memorial service will be held at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 2:00PM.
