Stephen Wilson Ryder

A funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Stephen Wilson Ryder will be 10:30am Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Harley Wideman officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening for a time of visitation and viewing from 5:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. Stephen passed from this life on Saturday August 3, 2019 at St Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was 46.



Stephen was born in Tulsa, OK on January 14, 1973 to his parents Wilson Jr. and Janet Ryder. Stephen grew up in West Tulsa his entire life and graduated from Webster High School in 1991. He went on to graduate from TCC with a degree in Information Technology. Stephen was an active member of Evangelistic Temple, now named Spirit Life Church. He belonged to the Masons, Shriners, and Merri-Makers since 2014.



He left his loving wife, Shannon Michelle, two step-sons, Steven Lovell and his wife Amanda and Christopher Lovell all from Tulsa, parents Wilson JR and Janet Mary Ryder and one brother Bryan Ryder and his wife Amanda along with his precious nephews and niece; Noah, Dakota, Isaiah, Kohl, Leah, and Micah all of Inola. He was also very close with his sister-in-law, Sally Stumpf and her two daughters, Clarrissa Crow (who was like a daughter to Steve) and her husband Cullen and 3 sons and Pamela Boyer.
