Stephen Kent Gulley, 69, passed away on August 20, 2014 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on July 27, 1945 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Paul Woodrow and Lillian Alice Souther Gulley.
He was raised in Tulsa, graduating from Will Rogers High School, class of ‘63. He served in the Marine Corp from 1965 - 1971. He graduated from TCC with a RN degree in 1984. After graduating, he worked at St John’s Hospital for eight years. After leaving St. John’s, he spent the remainder of his life devoted to the healthcare profession, particularly home health and hospice. He was always taking care of others, including his own father until he passed in 1998. Some of his favorite memories were of sailing at Keystone Lake and being at the cabin by Grand Lake, OK surrounded by his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Myra Irene Gulley, and his brothers Paul Millard Gulley and David Phillip Gulley.
He is survived by his children Nichole Dickey, Jason McIntosh, and Anthony Hulcher; their mother and his devoted friend Jean Angel; seven grandchildren; sister-in-laws Patricia Gulley, Marylyn Gulley, and Sue Needham; nieces Alisa Muller, Alison Gulley-Ryan, Mikalann Jenkins, Stefan Harris, and nephew Coleman Gulley; Uncle Bill Diez; many cousins and other beloved family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
