Sonda Sue Connell

Sonda Sue Connell, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2019 surrounded by family and friends at the age of 70 years at Cornerstone Hospital of Oklahoma.

She was born on February 23, 1949 in Tiptonville, TN to Odie B. Turner and Johnnie Lucille (Gambil) Turner.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Odie B. Turner and Johnnie Lucille (Gambil) Turner; sister, Carolyn Hilburn; and brother, Jerry Turner.

Sonda is survived by her husband, Jessie Connell of Owasso; daughter and son-in-law, DeWana and Cameron Long, of Owasso; brother and sister-in-law, Odie B. and Peggy Turner of Olive Branch, MS; sister, Valma Deason of Owasso; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Gus Hinkle of League City, TX; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kathy (Connell) and Dennis Jones; brother-in-law, Gene Connell; and many loving nieces and nephews who she dearly loved.

A memorial service will be held by the family at 2:00 PM, on Thursday, May 16, 2019, at the Owasso First Assembly, 9341 N 129th E Ave, Owasso, OK, 74055, with Pastor Bruce McCardy officiating.
