Skyler Emery Hankins

Skyler Emery Hankins took flight with angels on Sunday, January 4th, 2015.

Skyler was born July 6, 2003 to Kevin Eugene Barry and Katrina Lea Hankins in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He lived in Glenpool, Oklahoma and attended Glenpool Elementary School.

Skylers life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. He touched so many throughout his young, yet very memorable life, Although he was only 11 years old, he gave us all such courage and hope in reminding us of the preciousness of life. Skyler was always busy, full of laughter and wit, playing video games, nintendo ds, wii, riding his scooter, fishing, hunting, he loved playing catch with his sister Katie. He enjoyed the friends he made in 4th grade, and Sunday School. Skyler was loved deeply and will be greatly missed. We thank God for allowing us to be his family, he brought so much joy to our hearts.

Skyler is survived by his loving parents, Matt Dickens and Katrina Hankins, sister Katie Dickens, grandparents, Rick and Patty Hankins, great grandmother, Katherine A. Hankins, uncle D and Mandy Hankins, cousins; Ivan, Brooklyn, Caleb, Shandy and Alex; numerous great aunts, uncles, 2nd cousins
and the many children he called friends. Also survived by Kevin Barry and Family.

Visitation will be held 5:00pm - 8:00pm Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Schaudt's Funeral Service Chapel in Glenpool.

Funeral Service is 11:00 am Friday, January 9, 2015 at First Baptist Church - Jenks.
Reverend Jamie Pendleton and uncle Duane Hankins, will be officiating.
Interment to follow at South Heights Cemetery, in Sapulpa Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be Duane Hankins, Duane Sells, David Ickes and Rick Vineyard.
