“Skipper” aka Terry Lee Roberts
Skip was born December 3rd, 1948 and passed away at home in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on January 8th, 2021. Skip’s career was as an Arborist. He enjoyed climbing, being outdoors, playing ball, or watching ball games. His biggest love was helping others, singing, dancing, and spending time with his grandkids. He loved OU Football!
Skip was preceded in death by his dad Frisco Roberts, mom Frances Birdcreek Roberts, sister Shirley Yargee, brothers Alan Roberts, Robin Roberts, and Tony Roberts.
Skip is survived by his brother Mandrell “Tuffy” Roberts, sister Ida Roberts of Okmulgee, OK, brother Randy Roberts of Okmulgee, OK, lifelong best friend Ramsey Tecumseh of Okmulgee, OK, daughter Ramona “Lynnelle” Roberts of Mounds, OK, son Brian Roberts (Wakeen) of Tulsa, OK, daughter in law Theresa Marshall of Tulsa, OK, grandsons Jimsey Fish of Glenpool, OK, Michael Fish of Glenpool, OK, Trever Fish of Mounds, OK, Brian Roberts Jr. (Lil B)of Tulsa, OK, granddaughters Kyrah Roberts of Sand Springs, OK, Feather Roberts of Sapulpa, OK, Deziree Roberts of Sapulpa, OK, great granddaughter Rylee Dick of Sapulpa, OK. Nephews: Frisco Yargee, Paul Drywater, Ian Roberts, Roland Roberts, Eric Roberts, Chad Roberts, Robin Roberts, Randy Roberts Jr., Kevin Roberts and nieces: Gina Yargee and Amanda Roberts. Skip had many nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends that he loved.
Skip was baptized at Nuyaka Indian Baptist Church. His favorite song was “Come and Get Your Love” so smile knowing he is in heaven singing and dancing.
Pall Bearers will be Eric Roberts, Brian Roberts Jr., Joe Anderson, Jimsey Fish Jr., Michael Fish, and Trever Fish. Honorary Pall Bearers will be Dustin Cloud, Ramsey Tecumseh, Robbie Roberts, Frisco Yargee, Sammy Deere, Roland Roberts, Chad Roberts, Randy Roberts Jr., Robin Roberts, Paul Drywater, and Ian Roberts.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 10:00 - 12:00 PM at Schaudt Okmulgee Chapel. A graveside service will follow at Nuyaka Indian Baptist Church Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
