Shirrell Eugene Daniels

Shirrell "Coty" Daniels, 83, died Sunday, December 11, 2016, peacefully at home with love ones at his side.

Shirrell was born December 24, 1932 to Frank and Laura Daniels in Dewey, OK. He graduated from Douglas High School in Bartlesville, OK. He loved playing sports especially baseball. Shirrell owned and operated L & S Lawn and Pallet Services for many years until he retired in 1998.

Shirrell is survived by his loving wife Linda for 22 years; his children: Denise Vaught (Omaha, NE); Bruce Eugene Daniels (Oklahoma City, OK); Lesa Jeanette Daniels (Midwest City, OK); Robert Yarbough; Stefan (Tulsa); George (Atlanta); and Sean; his brother and sister, Kenneth Daniels (Kansas City, MO) and Mary Owens (Detroit, MI); mother-in-law, Ruby Lee Williams; his five sister-in-laws and eight brother-in-laws.

Shirrell's grandchildren were his pride and joy and they loved being around their Paw Paw. It was nothing for Linda and him to hit the road with them. He leaves behind fourteen grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren.

Shirrell was also a devoted friend and leaves behind his good friends, Edwin Yarbough, Willard and Lucile Thierry and Willie Pete Johnson. He also leaves behind a hosts of nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Shirrell was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Earl, Chester, Jimmy and Vernell; sisters: Henrietta, Lilly Bea and Pat.; daughter, Shirrell and granddaugher, Tinesa.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service, Tulsa.
