Shirley Wanda Ledbetter

Shirley Wanda Ledbetter passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021 at the age of 90 years.

Shirley was born on November 8, 1931, in Porter, OK to her parents, William and Metta (Ryals) Churchwell.

She met J.D. Ledbetter in Tulsa Ok. They were married on January 7, 1956 at Sheridan Road Baptist Church. They achieved 37 years of marriage until his death on July 12, 1993.

She graduated high school in Morris Oklahoma, and attended business school in Tulsa, upon graduating Shirley worked as a Secretary for Amerada Hess Oil company.

She is preceded in death by her husband J.D. Ledbetter; father William Churchwell; mother Metta Churchwell; brother Billy Churchwell.

Shirley leaves many loving memories with her family, son Gary Ledbetter; daughter-in-law Zora May Ledbetter; granddaughter Alyssa Ledbetter; grandson Jayden Ledbetter; brother Harvey Churchwell; nephew Scott Churchwell; niece LaDonna Churchwell; Cousin Sandra Hankins; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Public Viewing/Visitation will be held 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Schaudt's Okmulgee Funeral Service Chapel.

Graveside Service will be held 1:00 PM December 29, 2021 at Morris Cemetery, Morris, Oklahoma.
