Shirley Corrine Wegner

Shirley Corrine Wegner, age 83, passed away on September 12, 2016 at her residence in Mounds, Oklahoma.
Shirley was born on August 26, 1933 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Jack and Shirley Moore. Shirley and Charles were happily married for 40 years. She was employed as an LPN at Saint Francis Hospital for five years and the Osteopathic Hospital for fifteen years. Shirley enjoyed knitting things for her family, she was great at putting puzzles together, reading as many books as she could get her hands on, gambling once in a while. She is remembered for being feisty at times, and having a great sense of humor.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Shirley Irene and Jack Oral Moore and son, Rick Wayt.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Wegner, son, Clint Smock and his wife Jamie, daughters, Cynthia Wayt-Brown and her husband Walt Kosty, Terri Wayt-Vance and her husband Perry, step-daughter, Sandra Schmidt, eight grandchildren, and many loving friends and family.
A gathering of friends and family will be Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Schaudt's Funeral Service and Cremation Care, 719 E. 141st Street, Glenpool, OK 74033.
