Shirley Ann Rippy

A memorial service to honor and celebrate the life of Shirley Ann Rippy will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, January 5th, 2019. Shirley a resident of Wilsonville, Oregon passed away in her sleep on December 12, 2018. She was 76.

She was born on September 18, 1942 in Dallas, TX to her parents, Desmond and Leitha (Patton) Fleming. She pursued a career as an optometrist and owned three successful optical businesses.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, a son Kenny whom passed away Oct 4, 2006 and four siblings.

She is survived by her daughter Mitzie Michelle Bean of Glenpool, Charles Carter that she raised as her own. her two granddaughters Kendra Annelle Curry and Kristyn Ashley Curry of Glenpool, seven Great grand children Kennedy-Keagan - Collins-Kent - Brynlee-Jason and Aaron and Charles Carter’s two children Angel and Anthony who was not blood but considered her great grandsons who she loved dearly and cared for.

Shirley is now free of her heart issues along with debilitating diabetic issues.
