Shirley A. Cook

Shirley A. Cook age 65 passed away Monday, December 25, 2006 at OSU Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Shirley was born January 12, 1941 in Wisner, Louisiana and adopted by Reed Rushing and Mary Long Rushing. She graduated from Holdenville High School in 1961. She spent most of her Life in the Holdenville are prior to moving to Okmulgee two years ago.
Ms. Cook was a homemaker. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and she loved to read, gardening, and taking yoga classes.
She is survived by her children: Mark Cook and his wife Jean of Wewoka, OK; Martin Cook and his wife Maryann of Broken Arrow, OK; Montra Lombard and her husband Paul of Okmulgee, OK; and Sasha Womack and her husband Brandon of Holdenville, OK as well as her eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A private family service will be held.
