Shawn Scherie Ledgerwood

Shawn Scherie Ledgerwood died unexpectedly on December 25, 2021 from a heart attack at a friend's house in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was 53 years old (even though she told everyone that she was 45 years old for the past 7 years). She was born on November 28, 1968 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

She was raised by her mother Jackie (Harris) Foote in Sand Springs, Ok, attended Charles Page Highschool and later graduated with her G.E.D. She spent her early 20's soaking in the night life, making many friends and bartending at many clubs in Tulsa. She would later assist her mother, working in the print shop at Tulsa Regional Medical Center, until she became the wife of Keith Ledgerwood and the mother of Courtney Nicole Ledgerwood. She loved life and loved laughing, making everyday as fulfilling as she possibly could. She had an intense appreciation for art, music, and the fancier things in life. She had an amazing sense of humor and loved poking fun at everyone she knew, which in turn caused people to throw sarcastic comments right back at her, especially when she got facts very wrong (i.e., Dogs have hooves instead of paws). Shawn was quite a unique person and she will be deeply missed by those who knew her well.

Shawn was preceded in death by her mother Jackie (Harris) Foote. She is survived by her husband Keith Ledgerwood and their child Courtney Ledgerwood. Siblings: Todd Harris (brother), Jenny Banuelos (half-sister); step-siblings: Janna Marbles, John Foote, and Tim Foote; fathers: David Harris, and step-father, David Foote.

Friends and family are welcome to attend Shawn's celebration of life service at Schaudt's Funeral Service and Cremation Care Center, 5757 S Memorial Dr, Tulsa, OK 74145 at 12:00pm on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. Casual attire is welcomed.
