Shawn Patrick Davis

August 17, 1999 — April 15, 2022

Shawn Patrick Davis Jr. was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on August 17, 1999. He passed away on April 15, 2022 at 22 years old due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Shawn loved to ride his Harley, also known as "The Dutchman", calling it his "wind therapy". He always said that he'd never love another girl like he loved his bike. He was so proud to ride with his Parents, Pops, Uncle Guy and good friends!

In Shawn's time with family, he enjoyed poker nights, as well as any other family gatherings. He also enjoyed being the pestering brother to his siblings. He always had a smile on his face that would brighten any room he walked into.

His laugh was contagious and sometimes annoying, but will be missed very much. He was extremely excited to be a first time dad to his little boy, Kasen Rage, who is due anytime. He had a one of a kind spirit, was a great friend, the best brother, and an amazing son! Shawn's friends describe him as having a very adventurous soul. They talk about how loyal he was and that he was always a phone call away! When he loved, he loved deeply and fiercely. He enjoyed doing all things and going all places with his MOMO!

In Shawn's high school yearbook, he was described as the "Most Likely to Inspire Taylor Swift to Write a Break-Up Song" and known as the "Class Romeo" and the "Pretty Boy". He played Soccer at Clinton Middle School and Webster High School and Football at Kellyville High School, where he graduated in 2017.

Shawn enlisted in the United States Marines Corp. in 2017 and served 4 years as a Rifleman in the 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines infantry battalion, nicknamed the Magnificent Bastards, at Camp Pendleton in California.

;IGY6 has many definitions. There's only one for our family and Shawn held it to the highest standard. We will always have your back, as you have always had ours.

Shawn is preceded in death by his grandparents Patsy Owens, Roger Sons, cousins Austin Davis & Avery Davis and his best friend Tanner Hollingsworth.

He is survived by his parents, Shawn & Brandie Davis, Natasha Bartlett & Jesse Edwards; his siblings, Layton Davis, Tynley King, Aubrie Davis, Amanda Bliss, Krista Davis, Taylor Rusher and Madison Dunnam. Grandparents Tommy "Pops" & Cissy Owens, Ellen "Momo" Bartlett, John & Edna Wyant, Mary Ann Hand, Great GrandFather Truman Bartlett, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
