Sharon Sue James, age 71, of Catoosa, Oklahoma passed way on Monday, September 20, 2021, at her home. She was born on June 20, 1950, in Newkirk, Oklahoma to Eugene and Florence Smith. Sharon grew up in the area and graduated from Newkirk High school.
Sharon worked at QuickTrip Corporation for 25 years as a Price book Specialist. On May 24, 1996, Sharon married David James, and together they shared more than 25 years of love and adventure. Her hobbies and enjoyment came from reading, knitting, cruising, and especially going on day trips with her grandson, Michael.
She is preceded in death her parents; siblings, Roberta Warner, Bonnie Voegele, Joyce Aycock, Leslie Smith, James Smith, Margaret Smith, and Erma Smith.
Survivors include her husband, David, of the home; children, Jennifer Sawvel and husband Allen,of Broken Arrow, and Leandra Mazzei and husband Aaron, of Fairfield, Ohio; grandchildren, Michael Sawvel and Christopher Mazzei; siblings, Earnest Smith and wife Sharon, of Fritch, Texas, Barbara Haskins and husband Homer, of Amarillo, Texas, and Eugenia Lunsford and husband Bob, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and many more nieces, nephews, and extended family.
