Sharon Lee Cox

Sharon Lee Cox gained her angel wings on April 20, 2022 in Broken Arrow at the age of 71 surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

Sharon was born to B.H and Lorene Quinton on May 27, 1950 in Tulsa, OK. She graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1968 and after a couple career changes, she retired as an inventory control specialist at Homeland. Sharon was a single mother who raised 3 children with the support of her parents and several close, lifelong girlfriends. After retirement, Sharon spent several years caring for her grandchildren and several other children of close friends. She enjoyed reading mysteries, puzzles, word searches and gardening.

Sharon is survived by her daughter Julie McClain twins Steven and Stephanie Speer, son-in-law Michael McClain daughter-in-law Jennifer Speer and grandchildren Kayli Toigo, Mason Speer and Morgan Speer.

At her request, in her final wishes, there will be no memorial service or funeral. She wished to be remembered and acknowledged as a loving daughter, mom, nana, cousin, and a loyal friend. The family will announce a celebration of life gathering in the near future.
