Shannon Michelle Ryder

Shannon Michelle Ryder, 51, of Tulsa, OK passed from this life around 11:45pm on Wednesday November 23rd, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Michelle was born on February 3rd, 1971 in Tulsa, OK to Charles "Ron" Davis and Rosemary Davis. Michelle was joined by sister, Sally, a few years later.

Michelle is survived by her parents Charles "Ron" Davis and Rosemary Davis of Tulsa, OK. Her children Steven Andrew Lovell and wife Amanda, of Tulsa and Christopher Allen Lovell and wife Courtney of Tulsa. (3) precious grandchildren that she adored-Ava, Hensley and Oliver. Her sister Sally Crow of Tulsa. Nieces Clarrissa Crow and husband Cullen of Tulsa and Pamela Miller of Denver. And (3) precious great nephews Hunter, Dominic and Lincoln-all of Tulsa.

Michelle married the love of her life, Stephen Wilson Ryder, in 1997 and enjoyed 21.5 years of marriage before his passing in 2019.

Michelle attended Daniel Webster High School in Tulsa in the 1980s, and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2006 with a Master's Degree in Social Work. She was most recently employed with Sunshine Care Partners. Michelle had many hobbies including diamond painting and chasing grand babies around the house as she loved babysitting whenever she could. Michelle loved OU football and enjoyed going to games in Norman with her son, Steven (BOOMER SOONER). Michelle was very active in helping the Akdar Shrine Merri-Makers, she particularly loved painting faces at the circus every year. Michelle was a notoriously good cook and the family will miss her banana pudding and deviled eggs. When her children were growing up, Michelle was very active in their lives-always volunteering at their schools and helping with functions as they were involved in band and sports.

Michelle was loved dearly by her family and will be missed, greatly, by everyone that knew her.
