Sarah Jane O'Connor entered into eternal rest at the age of 70, surrounded by her loved ones at Clarehouse Hospice in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Wednesday, September 27, 2017.

Sarah was born in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma on September 10, 1947, to the late Louise (Nichols) Howard and Paul Howard. She graduated from Wynnewood High School with the class of 1965. After high school, she attended ECU in Ada, Oklahoma, and majored in business. Sarah worked as a social worker with the Department of Human Services for 20 years and retired in 1990. She enjoyed watching TV and having lunch with her family. Her most precious time was spent being a grandma and granny to her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Louise and Paul Howard of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.

Sarah is survived by her children; Michael O'Connor of Jenks, Oklahoma, and Laura O'Connor of Bixby, Oklahoma, siblings; Paula Sue Wimberly of Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Paul Howard of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Garrett Michael O'Connor Cowan, Megan Lyn O'Connor, and other loving family and friends.

Private family services to be held at a later date.
