Sandra Alene White, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 72. She was born on July 6, 1952, in Tulsa to Leroy and Ruth Medlock, who precede her in death.
Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, George White, her children William White (Deanna), Tonya Victory, and a host of grandchildren: Cody Victory, William White, Lucas Woodhurst, Logan White; as well as great-grandchildren Mason Victory and Maggie Victory. She also leaves behind her brother, Donald Medlock, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her deeply.
Sandra had a zest for life that was apparent in everything she did. She loved her family fiercely, and they were her greatest joy. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, always ready with a kind word, a hug, or a helping hand. Known for her motherly nature, Sandra was the rock of her family, always putting others' needs before her own.
Sandra was also known for her love of adventure. She enjoyed a good trip to the casino, where she could be found trying her luck with a smile on her face. Her fast cars were another passion-she had a spirit of excitement and independence that led her to enjoy the thrill of drag racing in her younger years. She was known for racing the boys for their lunch money, in her '65 Impala SS.
An exceptional cook, Sandra had a special touch in the kitchen, and her pork chops were a family favorite that will always be remembered with love. Her heart was as big as her culinary skills, and she poured love into every dish she made.
Sandra had a soft spot for animals, particularly dogs, and they were a cherished part of her life. Her family will always remember her as someone who was easy to love, easy to laugh with, and easy to scare-her playful nature and light-hearted spirit made her a joy to be around.
Sandra leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and strength. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Her love and light will continue to shine through the memories of those who were lucky enough to know her.
