Samuel Joseph Melton passed away the morning of Sunday, August 15th. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on March 12, 1981, to Rick and Cynthia Melton.
Samuel graduated from Memorial High School in 1999 and then attended the Star Training Institute, receiving several certificates including AutoCAD and Architectural Animation. He also attended Tulsa Vo-Tech, studying photography. Samuel worked as a Quality Control Lab Technician at Solvay Composite Materials for 15 years. He then worked for Milo's Tea Company.
Recently, he pursued his passion for amateur photography working with car clubs, some professional modeling agencies, and the local chamber choir Vox Solaris. On November 7, 2003, he married the love of his life, Holly. In his words, he "loved watching movies, hanging out with the guys, and having fun with his beautiful wife".
He is survived by his wife, Holly Melton, his parents Rick and Cynthia Melton, sister April Martin and her husband Zack, nieces Christina, Renee and Anne Martin, his grandpa Cecil Smith, and many more extended family and friends he considered family. He was an amazing man that wasn't afraid to stand up for what was right. He will be greatly missed.
A time for viewing and visitation will be held at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service from 11:00am - 8:00Pm, on Wednesday, August 18. A celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm, on Thursday, August 19, at Faith United Methodist Church, in Tulsa.
