Samuel Edward Pitts

Samuel Edward Pitts III, 65, a resident of Beggs, OK passed away Thursday October 27, 2011 in Muskogee, OK. He was born May 1, 1946 in Washington, D.C. to Samuel Edward and Jaqueline (English) Pitts Jr. Samuel served his country in the U.S. Army and retired as a truck driver. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Stephen Ikley of Beggs, brother Robin Pitts as well as numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Sara Scott-Johnson. No services are planned at this time. Service are under the direction of Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee, OK.
