Sammie Lou Johnson, daughter of Frances Jr. and Opaline (Harris) Bussey, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2016 in Tulsa. Sammie was born July 1, 1935 in Tonkawa, Oklahoma.

Sammie graduated from Tonkawa High School. She worked as a Postal Carrier. Sammie love to crochet, garden, play bridge and cook. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and a member of Woodland Christian Church in Tulsa.

Sammie was preceded in death by Dwight Weir, Bonnie Allredge, Pattie Sue Reynolds and Lorraine Johnson. She is survived by her husband, Walter Johnson; daughters: LuAnn Tomlinson; Hope Bailey; Bobbie Sanders; Judy Hooper; son, Larry Johnson; son, Floyd McWilliams; son, Lloyd Johnson and his wife, Connie; sons-in-law: John Tomlinson, Doug Bailey, David Sanders, Kirk Hooper; sister, Dottie Ann Reickenberg; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 PM- 4:00 PM, Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, November 28, 2016 at Woodland Christian Church in Tulsa.
