Sally Jane Jones

Sally Jane Jones, affectionately known as "Mustang Sally," galloped through life with a free spirit and an infectious laughter that echoed the joy she brought to everyone she encountered. Born on January 12, 1956, in the heart of Kansas City, Missouri, Sally's vibrant spirit illuminated the lives of those around her until her peaceful departure on December 5, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

From an early age, Sally embraced life's adventures, growing up in Kansas City before making Tulsa her beloved home at the age of 17. Her journey was marked by a zest for life, a hippy soul, and an unwavering dedication to caring for others. As a Certified Nursing Assistant in nursing homes, Sally's compassionate nature shone brightly, touching countless lives with her warmth and care.

"Mustang Sally" wasn't just a nickname; it encapsulated her untamed spirit and love for a good time. Her laughter was her trademark, a symphony that resonated in every room she entered. Sally found solace and joy in crafting, puzzles, and crocheting, hobbies she shared generously with her cherished family and friends.

Family meant everything to Sally, especially her grandchildren, who were the stars that lit up her world. She reveled in their company, creating treasured moments that will forever be etched in their hearts.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Thelma Crow, her husband of 35 years, Harold "Dan" Jones, and her sister, Sharon McInvale. She leaves behind a legacy of love survived by her children: Trishia Creamer, Daniel Robertson, Stephen Jones, Charlene Steele, Ruby Pratt, Noah Robertson; her sister, Jackie Honomichl; her brother, William Crow; several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In celebration of her spirited life, a gathering will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 2 pm to 4 pm at David Lester’s Residence, where friends and loved ones will come together to honor Sally's memory, share stories, and celebrate the joy she brought into the world.

Sally Jane Jones will forever be remembered for her laughter, her kindness, and the love she generously shared with all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit remains alive in the hearts of those she touched, and her legacy of love and joy will continue to inspire for generations to come.
