Sally Ann Jackson, a resident of Okmulgee, went to be with her Lord on Monday, October 29, 2012 at the age of 66. She was born November 4, 1945 to Eli Starr and Lena Taylor Starr in Okemah, Oklahoma. She enjoyed going to church, fishing, sewing, cooking, sharing God’s love, going out to eat and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eli Starr and Lena Taylor Starr; first husband, Sam Jefferson Kelley and late husband, Bobby Lee Jackson; sisters, Rose Lea Starr and Mandy Hill; brother, Daniel Starr; nephews, Steven Fixico and David Starr; nieces, Melanie Fixico and Stephanie Fixico and great grandchild, Matthias Cantu. Survivors include her sisters, Janey Parks of Moline, Illinois, Allene Starr of Morris, Emma Factor of Morris, Amy Reagan and husband, Jerry of Morris; brother, James Starr and wife, Dee of Tulsa; daughters, Edna Ross and husband, Timothy of Okmulgee and Rita Nieto and husband, Oscar of Tulsa; grandchildren, Mark Kelley of Florida, Tiffany Whittenberg of Okmulgee, Megan Whittenberg of Tulsa, Jeffrey Kelley of Okmulgee, Trae Stokely of Okmulgee and Victoria Ross of Okmulgee; six great grandchildren; aunt, Addie Lewis of Talala, Ok; uncle, Mitchell Taylor of Henryetta; special aunt, Mary Kelley of Henryetta and cousin, Norma Tiny Chalakee of Humble, Texas. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee. Wake Services will begin at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee with Reverend Alfred Berryhill officiating. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2012 at the Belvin Baptist Church in Okmulgee with Pastor Randy Colbert and Pastor Mitchell Taylor officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee. Pallbearers will be Keith Phillips, Shannon Starr, John Billie, Ronnie Fixico, Dennis Taylor and Erick Starr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Reagan, Joe Holuby, James Starr, Mark Kelley, Jeffrey Kelley and Trae Stokely.
