Ruth Ellen Duncan

Ruth Ellen Duncan departed this life June 18, 2004 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Ruth was born May 24, 1928 in Amma, West Virginia, and married Joe Duncan on July 7, 1954 in Akron, Ohio. Ruth and Joe spent most of their married life raising their family in and around the Akron, Ohio area.
Since 1997, Ruth has lived in Tulsa. She was a member of Eastland Baptist Church, and enjoyed being a part of the Pioneers Sunday School Class. Her passions were her children and grandchildren. Some of her most enjoyable times were spent gardening, sewing, and cheering for the Cleveland Indians. She will be greatly missed by everyone whose life she touched.
Mrs. Duncan is survived by her son; Tom Duncan and his wife Mona of Glenpool, OK, two daughters; Evelyn Duncan of Tulsa, OK and Susan DiCato of Charlotte, NC, four brothers Larry Myers and his wife Brenda of Monroe, NC, Fred Myers and his wife Carolyn of Clendenin, WV and Randy Myers and his wife Anna of Newton, WV Paul Myers Parkersburg, WV, two sisters Ella Goosland of Amma, WV and Betty Hill of Cheseapeake, WV, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Duncan, her parents, Raymond and Nancy Myers; three brothers, Robert Myers, Gary Myers, and Ray Myers, and two infant sisters.
Memorial Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday June 21, 2004 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel. In lieu of Flowers the family requests donations to be made to the Eastland Baptist Church Missionary Program.
