Ruth Ann Moren

Ruth Ann Moren a former resident of Okmulgee passed away Sunday April 22, 2012 in Clovis, NM at the age of 92. She was born March 17, 1920 in Hulbert, OK to Elvin Otto and Elizabeth D. Green (Bailey) in Hulbert, OK. Ruth retired as a teacher from the Okmulgee School System in 1983. Ruth is survived by her granddaughters, Tracy Lewis and her husband Chris of Clovis, NM, Amy Scott of Jenks, OK, 5 great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Virgil Ellis Moren and son, Virgil Ellis Morris Jr. Visitation will be held Tuesday April 24, 2012 from 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday April 25, 2012 at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Hulbert, OK with the Reverend Wade Robertson officiating.
