Ruth Ann Field passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016 at her home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ruth was born October 20, 1949 in Stroud, Oklahoma to Howard C. and Vera O. (Walter) Williams.

She graduated from Stroud High School in 1967 and OSU earning a degree in Home Economics. Ruth worked as a administrator of a Nursing Home and DHS for more than thirty years. She was a member of New Haven United Methodist Church.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Jerry of the home; daughter, Whitney Gragg and her husband, Christopher of Denver; grandchildren, Garrett and Giuliana Gragg; brother, Don Williams of Dunwoody, Georgia; sister, Sue Goldston of New York, New York; sister-in-law, Harrietta Barrows; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service. A funeral will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at New Haven United Methodist Church in Tulsa. Interment will follow at the Stroud Cemetery in Stroud, Oklahoma.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Ruth Ann Field to MD Anderson (gifts.mdanderson.org).
