Roy Oliver Sanders

Roy Oliver Sanders, passed away in Tulsa Oklahoma on June 28, 2019, at the age of 76 years. Roy was born on January 25, 1943, in Kane, Pennsylvania to parents, Samuel and Shirley (Dunn) Sanders. He was a graduate of Okmulgee High School and proudly served our country in the United States Army. He married the love of his life, Lindie Fleck in January 1976.

He worked at several companies - Ball Brothers, John Zinc, Pittsburg Plate and Blue Wave Boats over the course of his adult life. Roy was an avid train collector, a motorcycle rider and during the summers always had a boat at Okmulgee Lake to spend time with his friends and family.

Roy is preceded in death by his wife Lindie Sanders, parents Samuel and Shirley Sanders, and brothers Gary Sanders and Jerry Sanders.

Those left to cherish the memory of Roy include his daughter Lois Kitchen and husband Jeremy, sister Sandra Jobe and husband Larry, along with grandchildren Connor, Kelsey, Kaelan and Camrin as well as with many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 5, 2019 at the Okmulgee Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Schaudt Okmulgee Funeral Service & Cremation Care Centers. Family and friends may send memories and condolences to the family online at www.schaudtfuneralservice.com.
