Roy L. Weaver, Jr.

Roy L. Weaver, Jr. age 79 passed away Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Roy was born July 27, 1930 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Roy L. Weaver and Ina P. (Bradford) Weaver. He attended Central High School in Tulsa. He met and married the love of his life, Betty Goodwin and they were married in Claremore, Oklahoma on September 15, 1950. Roy was self-employed and co-owned A. J. Weaver Company.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents: Roy and Ina Weaver; his son: Arthur John Weaver (May 20, 2006); his brother: Art Weaver (March 19, 2010); and his nephew: Steve White.
He is survived by his wife: Betty Weaver of Glenpool; his daughters: Lou Howell and Sue Robinson; his sisters: Mary L. Young, Evelyn PaPa and her husband, Victor; his nephews: Victor and Roy PaPa; his niece Judith Ungerman; his grandchildren: Aaron Weaver, Jerry Stacy, Teri Machtolff, Amber Harris, Courtney Fair along with ten great grandchildren, numerous cousins, great-great nieces, nephews, other family members, friends and acquaintances.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Home. Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 19th at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Reverend Aaron Hunter will officiate.
