Roy E. Betts

Roy E. Betts age 51 passed from this life on December 5, 2005 at his residence in Glenpool, Oklahoma.
Roy was born on October 4, 1954 in Evergreen Park, Illinois to Donald Betts and Earline Hall Betts. In 1971 he graduated from Mendel Catholic Prep School in Chicago, Illinois. He lived in Glenpool for 13 years moving from Tulsa. He worked for the Tulsa County Maintenance Department.
As a hobby Roy collected comic books. Roy was a talented musician. He played the guitar, banjo and harmonica. He previously played for the Cripple Creek Band and Hedge Your Bets Band.
Roy Betts was preceded in death by his father, Donald Betts. He is survived by his mother: Earline Betts, Las Vegas, Nevada; his son: Donald Betts, Glenpool, Oklahoma and his brother: Donald Betts, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Visitation will be Friday, December 9th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 10th at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel, 719 E. 141st Street, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Reverend Ron Baker of First Baptist Church, Glenpool, Oklahoma will officiate.
