Ross Schrameck

Ross Anthony Schrameck, a resident of Beggs, passed away Friday, July 23, 2010 at the age of 59. He was born on Wednesday, January 3, 1951 to Arthur Edwin and Lois (Bruner) Schrameck in Detroit, Michigan. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a police officer in the Air Force and a civilian officer in Crescent, Oklahoma. Ross was a lifetime member of the DAV and the VFW Post 1189 of Okmulgee until he became ill. On June 28, 1975, he married Joyce Cox in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Schrameck; son, Anthony Ray Schrameck; sister, Darlene McVay; two brothers, Larry and Eddie Schrameck. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Joyce Schrameck of the home; mother, Lois Johnson of Okmulgee; daughter, Amanda Buchanan and husband, Nathan of Tulsa; two sisters, Edy McCoy and husband, William of Texas and Sue Unruh of Okmulgee; granddaughter, Fiona Kenzie Buchanan and a grandson on the way, Ferris Xavier Buchanan; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, August 13, 2010 at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee.
