Rosemary Reed

A funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Rosemary Reed will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Schaudt’s Funeral Service in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. A public viewing will be held on June 29, 2018 from 5:00 – 8:00 at Schaudt’s Funeral Service in Okmulgee.

Rosemary Reed age 71, passed away on June 26, 2018 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma with her loving family by her side. She was born on December 23, 1946 in Okmulgee, OK to Fred and Alice Daniels. Rosemary married the love of her life, Jim Reed on August 24, 1962 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Before his passing in 2016, they had celebrated over 52 years of marriage together and had two wonderful, loving kids.

When Rosemary was younger she enjoyed playing the piano and singing; old hymns from church were some of her favorite. She spent her working years being a homemaker, taking care of her family and making sure that their needs were met before her own. Her favorite thing to do was to just be at home and have company over; especially her family for some cards and dominos.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Reed; parents, Fred and Alice Daniels; brothers, Fred Daniels and David Daniels; sister, Francis Whismen.

Those she leaves to cherish her memories are her children, Pearl White and husband Kevin; brothers, Raymond Daniels, Art Daniels and Marty Daniels; sisters, Ellen Sisney and Freda Hobbs; grandchildren, Joshua Reed, Justin White, John Reed, Gracie White, Chrystal Reed and a host of other family and friends who will greatly miss her.
