Rosa Lee Hart

Rosa Lee Hart, age 89 years, died on November 9, 2010 at Fountain View Manor in Henryetta. She was the widow of Eugene Wilson Hart who died in 1969. She was born June 28, 1921 in Allen, (Eufaula) Oklahoma to James Hiram Allen and Lottie Mae (Vice) Allen. Her grandparents were Noble Allen, Robert Lee Vice, Sr. and Mae Krebbs Vice. She was 3/64 Choctaw Indian on her mother’s side. Her parents and a brother, James Oral Allen, preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, Rosa Mae (Watson) Yancey of Oklahoma City; a step-daughter, MarGene (Hart) Fortman (Daniel) of Sapulpa; two grandchildren, Julie Lindsey and Teresa Yancey; three great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She lived in Henryetta most of her life, and worked as a waitress. She was a member of both the Ladies American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries. She was very fond of cats. No Services are planned at Rosa’s request. She will be buried beside her husband and mother at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta.
