Ronald Dwight Saye, born May 10, 1945, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Thomas Dwight and Virginia Hope (Pride) Saye, passed away on August 2, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Ronald is survived by his beloved spouse, Linda; his children: son David Dwight Saye (Karen) and their children Cody Hammon (Megan), Coy Martin, Alexis Turner, and Kylee Saye; daughter Shannon Bowman (Gary) and their children Brandon Cheek, Kenzie Cheek, Daniel Bowman, Sarah Bowman, and Logan Bowman. He is also survived by his sister, Sharon Goard (Whudy).
Ronald grew up in Tulsa, attended East Central High School, and spent some time studying at Oklahoma State University. He had a laid-back, go-with-the-flow personality and was a simple, kind-hearted man. He had a deep love for the lake and cherished his time there.
He worked at McDonnell Douglas until its closure and at one time operated his own auto repair shop, Douglas & Saye Automotive, on 11th Street. Ronald will be remembered for his dedication to his work and his gentle, easy-going nature.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
