Ronald D Kelsey

Ronald D Kelsey, longtime Tulsa resident, passed away at Clarehouse early Sunday morning, February 3, 2019, at the age of 79 years.

He was born on February 18, 1939 in Tulsa, OK to his parents, Lester and Ruby (Wagoner) Kelsey.

He graduated from Tulsa Central High School and then attended NSU in Tahlequah graduating with a Bachelors Degree.

Ronald proudly served our country in the US Army stationed in Greece.

He met the love of his life, Mary Ann Whorton, and they were married on September 6, 1981 in Las Vegas, NV.

He worked as a Banker for CitiCorp for many years, retiring in his late forties. Ron later worked for the Tulsa County Sheriff Office as a county appraiser. In his younger years he played professional baseball for the San Francisco Giants organization.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his in-laws, C.G. Whorton, Jr. and Helen Whorton.

Ron leaves many loving memories with his family; wife, Mary Ann Kelsey; son, Kevin and wife, Connie; grandsons, Matt and Jake; brothers, Donnie and Howard and wife, Melanie; sister, Laurel; brother-in-law and sister- in-law, C.G. "Buck" and wife, Bobbie Rose Whorton; niece, Mandy; first cousin, Gary Glanz and wife, Linda; his loving dogs, Doodles and Toby; as well as many other loving family members and a host of friends.
