Roger Rengstorff Rains

Roger Rengstorff Rains age 77 passed away January 9, 2014 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Roger was born September 28, 1936 in Oakland, California to Roger Roderick Rains and Isabelle (Rengstorff) Rains. He graduated in 1955 from Richmond Union High School. On October 25, 1957 he married the love of his life, Patsy Lou Massey. Roger enjoyed playing golf and collecting coins. He was a big family man and loved spending time with his grand kids. His nickname was "Babe". Before retiring, Roger worked for twenty-five years, as a Transport Truck Driver for the Pepsi Corporation.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Isabelle Rains, his three sisters: Margaret, Ginger and Sally

He is survived by his wife, Patsy of Glenpool, his daughter, Cheryl Adams and her husband Donnie of Jenks, his daughter, Lori Booher of Glenpool, his son, Randy and his wife Johna of Jenks, his brother John Rains and his wife, Connie of Ukiah, California, his sister, Helen Shahan and her husband, Art of Fairfield, California, his seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren with the fifth great grandchild on the way along with other family members and friends.

Visitation is 6:00 p.m. til 8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Schaudt's Funeral Home in Glenpool, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers are: Randy Rains, Steven Rains, Donnie Adams, Matt French, Clint McGehee and Darren Hutton.

Funeral services are 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 13, 2014 at Schaudt's Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Dan Taylor will officiate. Interment will be at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
