Roger Leathers

Roger Paul Leathers age 77 passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2015 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Roger was born on August 19, 1937 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Edwin Leathers and Lillian (Johnson) Leathers . He graduated from OSU Tech. Roger worked as a Route Driver for Western Uniform for thirty-five years and retired in 1999 at the age of 62 years old. He didn't stop there - he worked part-time for another 4-1/2 years for Village Florist in Jenks. Roger was a member of Sandusky Avenue Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Lillian and an infant brother.
Roger is survived by his wife, Marta Ella Leathers of Glenpool, his sons: Bill Leathers, Ed Leathers, Robert Leathers and Gregg Leathers, his sister, Alice Leathers Clark, his brothers, Duane and Jerry Leathers, along with eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service, 719 E. 141st Street, Glenpool, Oklahoma.

Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2015 at Westlawn Cemetery,
Henryetta, Oklahoma. Pastor Robert Gaches of Sunrise Baptist Church will officiate.
