Rodney Blane Hicks

Rodney Blane Hicks, a resident of Castle, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, October 1, 2010 at the age of 42 years. He was born on January 21, 1968 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Roy Grammer and Linda Hicks. He was married to Katie Hicks-Gibson. Rodney worked as a foreman for Asplundh. Rodney was preceded in death by his father, Roy Grammer. Survivors include wife Katie of the home, mother Linda Hicks and father Daniel Hicks of Welty, OK, children Jordan and Taylor Hicks of Castle, brother Ronald Grammer of Coweta, OK, and sister Joyce Billy of Choctaw, MS, as well as many other relatives and friends. A Wake Service for Rodney will be held at 7:00pm on Monday, October 4, 2010 at the Buckeye Creek Baptist Church in IXL, OK. The service will be at 1:00pm on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at the same location. Services under the direction of the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home of Henryetta.
