Robert O'Neil Philpott

Robert O'Neil Philpott born April 7th 1942 in Walters, Ok. He was known as Bobby to friends and family, Dad, Grandpa, Papa and Uncle Bob to many. He was preceded in death by his Mother Gwendolyn Black and his Father Leon Philpott. He had a love for the outdoors, including hunting and fishing, and shared this love with his family including his loving and devoted wife of 59 years, Ruth. Three daughters Kim Hart of Glenpool, OK; Lori Barranco of Broken Arrow, OK and Robin Billings of Boonville, MO One son Bobby Philpott Jr. of Tulsa, OK; 8 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. He loved music loved his family and loved to laugh. He was known to cut a rug any chance he was given. He had a passion for his family and was surrounded by them as his long hard fight against cancer ended and he passed on to calmer waters on June 10th 2016.
