Robert Leroy Brown age 84 passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012 with his loving family members by his side. Robert was born January 14, 1928 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Robert Wesley Brown and Stella Mae (Carpenter) Brown. He graduated from Webster High School. Robert served in the United States Air Force. On February 24, 1951 Robert married the love of his life, Melva Joyce (Caviness) Brown. He worked as a Production Planner in the aviation field. Robert was employed by McDonnell Douglas for thirty-three years and worked at Rockwell for ten years. Robert enjoyed playing golf in his retirement years. Robert was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Stella Brown. He is survived by his wife, Melva Brown of Tulsa, his daughter Deborah Eyler and her husband, Dan of Tulsa, his son Michael Brown of Edmond, his daughter LeaAnn Brown and her husband, Ed Beigel of Sabastian, Florida, his twelve grandchildren, his twenty-one great grandchildren, his sister Patricia Bradfield and her husband Jim of Hurst, Texas, his brother Raymond Kight and his wife Diane of Rockport, Texas, other family members, friends and acquaintances. Services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Anglican Church of the Resurrection, 1329 E. 151st Street, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Father Sam Gordin will officiate. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C. Schaudt of Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service & Cremation Care.
