Robert James Fife

Robert James Fife age 88 passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Rainbow Health Care in Bristow, Oklahoma. Robert was born March 8, 1924 in Dewar, Oklahoma to Una Fife and Lydia (Starr) Fife. He graduated from Sequoyah Indian Boarding School. Robert served in the U.S. Marines for two years during World War II. He worked as a Line Mechanic for American Airlines for thirty-two years. In his spare time he enjoyed listening to Big Band music and tinkering with electronics. He was preceded in death by his parents, Una and Lydia Fife, his loving wife Jennie Lee (Bark) Fife, his daughter, Melissa Fife and his son, Charles Eugene Cochran. Robert is survived by his son Gary Fife and his wife Ramona, his son Vic Fife and his wife Susan, his two granddaughters, Autumn Christie and her husband, Nathan, Amanda Beller and her husband, Chris along with other family members and friends. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 26, 2012 at Schaudt Funeral Service in Glenpool, Oklahoma. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at First United Methodist Church, 7th and Chestnut in Bristow, Oklahoma (918 367-3227). Reverend Kip Wright will officiate.
