Robert Gene Roach

Robert Gene Roach of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed from this life on April 20, 2020 at the age of 85. He is survived by his children Jennifer Knighten, Andy Roach, Russ Odum, and Lynda Mack; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother Jay Roach.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Myra (Godbey) Roach, daughter Kelly Lewis, grandson Jacob Mack, as well as by his parents and 8 brothers and sisters.

Bob was born October 24, 1934 in Enid, Oklahoma to Charley Roach and Lillian (Stearn) Roach. He joined the Air Force in his senior year of High School. After serving in the Air Force, Bob joined the Oklahoma Air National Guard and served as a recruiter and a Career Advisor. He retired from the ANG as a Senior Master Sergeant. He operated a machine shop for several years after retirement. He enjoyed repairing and making stained glass and furniture.
