Robert Gene Lucero age 66 passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at his Tulsa, Oklahoma residence. Robert was born September 13, 1946 in Roswell, New Mexico to Elfego Lucero and Dorothy Lee (Hovator) Lucero. He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. Robert married the love of his life, Juanita, on December 9, 1967. He received an Associates Degree in Computer Integrated Service from Oklahoma State University and he attended Spartan School of Aeronautics. For the past twelve years he worked as a bus driver for Greyhound Robert was preceded in death by his parents: Elfego and Dorothy Lucero and his wife, Juanita (February 21, 2010). He is survived by his daughter, Roberta Woodruff, his son, Daniel Lucero and his wife, Renee of Tulsa, Oklahoma, his brother, Larry Brooks widower of Barbara of Tulsa, his sister, Anita Dyer and her husband, Barry of Texarkana, Arkansas, his granddaughter, Desirea Nicole Woodruff, his grandson, Billy Lynn Woodruff, III, his grandson, Christopher Malott, granddaughter, Courtney Malott, two great grandchildren along with other family members and friends. Graveside services are 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery, Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C.
