Robert Eugene West

Robert "Bob" Eugene West of Broken Arrow, passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, June 10th, 2017. He was 84.

Robert was born on August 28th, 1932 in Inglewood, CA. He was the son of the late Goodwill Samuel West and Dolly Suitor West.

On January 17th, 1953, Robert married Clara Delora Butler in Inglewood, CA. They moved to Broken Arrow, OK 18 years ago.

Robert retired from Santa Fe Rubber Product, Inc. located in Whittier, CA as Vice President of the company. He worked there for 25 years.

He was an active member at Northside Christian Church in Broken Arrow, OK where him and his wife enjoyed going to Sunday school together.

Robert loved watching sports and a fun and loving man.

Along with his wife, Robert is also survived by a son, Derek Eugene West and his wife Tricia of Camarillo, CA. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren; Matthew West and Kari DiGesu and 5 great grandchildren; Matthew, Micah and Caleb West and Danial and Ava DiGesu.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, a brother; Leland West and three sisters; Gerry Chieves, Paulien Suitor and Ilene Graham.

Memorial Service will be held, Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 10:00 am at Northside Christian Church, 1221 N Elm Pl, Broken Arrow, OK 74012.

Interment will be at Garden Grove Cemetery in Prague, OK.
